It is always an honour to be asked to photograph a colleges wedding and I was more than thrilled when Phil asked me to capture his nuptials. Kristiina and Phil planned a lovely intimate wedding with family. They exchanged their vows in the paretn backyard and it was filled with love and tears of happiness. They shared their first kiss as husband and wife and sealed their vows with a lovely sand ceremony. We ventured off to the beach to take more photos and I am happy to say that Phil and Kriistina were well prepared. They both joked during our consultation that it would probably rain on their wedding as it seems to go that way for then all the time. Well, they were right. I have never shot a wedding in what seemed to be a torrential downpour. At one point it looked like pennies hitting the ground, but these two are adventurous and the rain didn’t faze them. The celebration was continued with a lovely dinner all handmade by family and some of the yummiest food I have tasted. Phil’s dad sure knows his smoker!
