Well, the day finally came where I got to photograph these two love birds at the Strathmere and it was absolutely perfect. Driving into Ottawa for the weekend was a breeze and the weather cooperated for us on their big day. At times it was a lil chilly but the rain held off and the day was full of beautiful white clouds! Getting ready with Craigs buddies was hilarious, they were all joking around and were super fun to work with. When I asked them to make funny faces for the camera (you will see below) there was no hesitation from any of them. When I got to Lyndse’s room I was so excited to see her and she made for an absolutely stunning bride. Her dad came in and there was a little “reveal” for him, he started to cry when he saw his baby girl. In turn, I started to cry (those damn dads get me every time!) It was a morning full of laughs, love and excitement. When the ceremony came to, it was so sweet. Craig and Lyndse’s families wanted in the chapel for the beautiful bride. When Lyndse walked down the aisle Craig lit up and he had such a HUGE smile on his face. The ceremony was short and sweet where they also incorporated a unity tree planting ceremony which symbolizes the joining of two families. After they said “I do” there was a grand smooch and they were finally husband and wife.
