Oh Ally & Brad, I can’t say enough how much I loved shooting this engagement session and seeing all the love between the two of them. My relationship with Brad goes all the way back to the college days. We met in Ottawa when we were in the same program. We were instant friends and even dated. A lot of people find it “weird” that the four of us (Brad and Ally & My husband and myself) can be such good friends with a dating history in the background. But let me tell you It can seriously be done. There were no bad feelings from the breakup and when Brad got hired where Marc and I now work another relationship began. The “bromance” between these two guys. Then I became the butt end of their jokes where they would both make fun of me for my tendencies they both thought were weird or funny. A few years down the road, Ally was introduced to the pack. I instantly loved her and thought she was the perfect match for Brad. She was fun, funny, beautiful and would keep Brad organized (if anyone knows Brad, you know). We met at friends wedding and all danced the night away finishing it with McDonalds and way too many cocktails. In-between that first meeting and this session we had dinner dates, attended galas together and celebrated when they told us they had gotten engaged. I am so so beyond happy that we have remained friends after all these years. The best part being that I now have a new friend, Ally to make fun of the guys with ( I needed someone on my team). So cheers to the two lovebirds and this wicked session we had at the beach in Barrie. I can’t wait to watch them grow as a couple and all the fun times we will have in the future 💕
