As soon as I walked into their home I knew we were going to have a great time. We were greeted with 2 adorable fluffbutts that wanted love and attention. Well if anyone knows me, knows how much I love dogs and can’t help myself when a wiggly butt wants to be scratched. After greeting the dogs I formally got to meet Taylor and Dan and was welcomed into their beautiful home. This home has its own instagram page @thehouseincanoe and for the ultimate reason, its beautiful!! I could not believe I got to shoot in this amazing home with the gorgeous couple! It was seriously like my dream home, all white, beautiful pieces of wood with just the right touches in every room. Not to mention that Taylor and Dan are the cutest couple ever and were a blast to work with. In-home couple sessions are a little different then outdoor sessions. They are more relaxed, more intimate and can definitely be more sensual. We started off in the kitchen with these two doing things they normally do together and love. Making coffee and a game of crib, what can get better than that?!?! Playing around in the kitchen was fun and it had the most beautiful light to make these images just perfect. After sharing a drink together we decided to move to the bedroom and get a little more cozy. The light was coming through the curtains and creating beautiful beams making the setting more dramatic, I loved it. Playing around on the bed and getting these two to up snuggling was adorable and brought out their love for each other, which is palpable. The last part of the session was getting into the tub, that’s right, the tub! Overflowing with soapy suds and with just the light coming from the window made for the most intimate part of the session. And that’s how the session ended, with these two embracing each other in between bubbles.
