A Cozy Family Session | Sweetest Little Trio

This session was such an easy, fun one to photograph.

I first met Kevin as a patient, he’s a chiropractor and hands down the best at cracking backs (or as I like to say, snapping twigs). Over time, we realized we lived in the same neighbourhood, and now our families have become friends, which has been really awesome to see.

Getting to photograph Michelle, Kevin, their little guy Charlie, and their dog Rosie felt like hanging out more than work. They’re such a relaxed, easygoing family, and you can just tell how much love they have for each other.

We shot at one of my favourite spots. Open space, soft light, and the kind of place that lets families just be themselves. Charlie was full of smiles, Rosie made sure to get in on the action, and the whole thing felt natural and effortless.

Watching friends step into parenthood, especially the same year we did, makes these moments hit a little differently. It’s cool to be able to freeze this season for them. Real moments, a few laughs, and the kind of photos that just feel like them.
